Interactive Sales Manager – WKRG, Mobile-Pensacola

Interactive Sales Manager. The focus of this position is the development and acquisition of locally generated interactive revenue. This position will affect local interactive revenue growth by providing product training, direct sales expertise , and project leadership to (local market) sales team. Specifically this position will provide continuous interactive sales training on existing and new products including online, mobile, and e-mail; prospect potential clients to maintain top-of-mind awareness of interactive products and convergence sale opportunities; lead interactive sales initiatives in concert with local sales management on blitzes, special project sales and category sales; provide timely counsel to VP Interactive, Market Leader on strategic and tactical revenue opportunities for consideration; and strategize with Sales Management to meet and exceed interactive budgets. Four year degree preferred. Online media sales experience required including a minimum 3 years multimedia sales and marketing experience with special emphasis in online sales. This position will not have direct reports, but the employee filling this position must be prepared and comfortable to make presentations for internal and external clients. This position will also require acute attention to planning and scheduling in relation to regional responsibilities. Ideal candidate will be performance-oriented; have multimedia mindset; have ability to thrive on teamwork and fast-paced work environment; have insatiable appetite for growing revenue; have attention to detail, accuracy and consistency in all work including forecasting; have strong interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and excellent skills at coaching and developing sales reps.

Job Skills:

Includes but is not limited to working with each member of the local sales staff to create an individual road map to achieve digital budget, make weekly sales calls with each local AE, evaluate the local team’s ability and knowledge to successfully sell our digital products, and manage the roll-out of new products and digital initiatives. The employee filling this position must be prepared & comfortable to make presentations for internal and external clients. Will require acute attention to deadlines ensuring they are being met for creative and booking orders. Ideal candidate will be performance-oriented; have multimedia mindset; have ability to thrive on teamwork and fast-paced work environment; have insatiable appetite for growing revenue; have attention to detail, accuracy and consistency; have strong interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written proficiency in Microsoft office products Excel and excellent skills at coaching and developing sales reps.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Level Degree

Minimum Experience:
Online media sales experience required and minimum three years multimedia sales and marketing experience with special emphasis in online sales.
