POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide assistance and backup to Sales Management and all other members of the Sales Department in order to maximize the efficiency of the sales force. Position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, thorough organization and attention to detail, accurate mathematical skills and ability to attend to multiple tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. College degree in Communications/Advertising/Business or two years experience in sales/research or related field preferred.
2. Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, Quark Express 3.2, and data base management.
3. Ability to work quickly, accurately, and with numbers, codes, and symbols.
4. Aptitude and ability to operate technical equipment, e.g., computers, printers, and copiers.
5. Ability to accurately type 60 wpm.
6. Ability to design sales presentations and verbally present information.
7. Effective oral and written communication skills.
8. Able to attend work regularly.
9. Available to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays.
10. Cable of handling the physical and mental requirements including:
• Ability to understand and orally communicate in English;
• Ability to read computer monitor information (words and data);
• Ability to hear detailed spoken communication;
• Ability to remain sedentary;
• Ability to perform manual dexterity tasks with hands, fingers;
• Ability to analyze data, concentrate, reason and write; and
• Ability to perform under emotional stress
