Alabama News Network is accepting applications for Master Control Operator position for the local CBS affiliate WAKA-TV and the local ABC affiliate WNCF-TV in Montgomery, AL Responsibilities will include ‘On Air’ and ‘Live-assist’ switching, monitoring of audio and video levels, keep program logs, ensure satellite feed reception for broadcast, assist in the ingestion and dubbing of commercials and keep the control room clean. Master Control is a 24/7 department, MCO’s may work all shifts including weekends, overnight and holidays. Strengths should include solid computer knowledge, multi-tasking and strong troubleshooting abilities. Experience not necessary as we will train qualified applicants.
