The Center for Public Television and Radio at the University of Alabama is looking for a TV Producer/Director to develop and produce television programming for broadcast and corporate clients. . Founded in 1955, CPT&R is an award-winning television and radio production center whose portfolio includes series, specials and corporate videos on a wide range of topics, from sports to arts and culture to health and business. Located in a new 40,000 square foot state- of-the- art digital media center in Bryant Denny Stadium, CPT&R is a teaching laboratory for the College of Communication and Information Sciences, allowing professionals to engage students in meaningful, real-world experience.

The Producer/Director will join a motivated team of creative professionals who wear many hats and enjoy collaboration across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling skills, a curiosity about a wide range of topics, and an interest in mentoring students. The candidate should have experience with single camera remote production, from field production to final editing. Experience with Adobe’s Creative Cloud editing and DSLR video is highly desired.
