Full Time Video Content Editor/Writer

Brief Job Summary:
Edit, and re-edit content for on-air use. Organize and enter data into
news archive files; record material from outside sources. Other assignments to include, but not limited to, writing for air and social media.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Include editing content for News products, both taped, and non-linear sources. Recording and organization of saved archived material. Write and re-write content for all station social media and web outlets, and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Knowledge:
A solid understanding of non-linear, timeline editing in a file based; network system experience preferred. Must have time specific organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet specific deadlines.

The preferred candidate must possess strong communication and writing skills and the ability to work well with others in a time sensitive work environment.

Regular attendance required. Hours: Variable, including overnights, and weekends. Employee must be flexible, and willing to perform a variety of tasks.

Required Education/Training:
Associate Degree or higher preferred. A solid understanding of Windows, and general computer knowledge required.
