Just a message for Wayne Grant: I presume Wayne you are related to Barney Grant? I was the applications engineer for Eimac when I contacted Barney to see if he was interested in evaluating a tube for us. I just came across his letter of reply after the three + year evaluation was complete in Mid 1995. He ran the tube over 4 years in the WIDO-FM transmitter. If you would like a copy of his letter I would be happy to send you one, by email or snail mail. I suspect your stations have all gone solid state by now, perhaps with a tube backup transmitter. I am considering using that as part of (not the main subject) in one of my Eimac stories, since it was a peculiar tube to begin with and the subject of that is yet to be completed.
