Radio License Renewal Review

Alabama radio broadcast station licenses are scheduled to expire April 1, 2020. Each AM, FM, noncommercial educational FM, FM Translator, and LPFM station must file an application for license renewal four months prior to the expiration date of the station’s license. Therefore, Alabama stations must file for renewal on or before December 2, 2019. ABA Board Member and attorney Scott Johnson of Fletcher, Heald and Hildreth and attorney Anne Crump will provide information to help you prepare your renewal filing. This is a critical session for all radio owners and operators.
