2018 ABA Conference: Next Level Revenue Generation for Small Market Radio

Robbie, Channing and Courtney will share “next level” ways small market radio owner/operators can increase revenue. Robbie not only owns and operates a radio station in a small market, he runs a very successful advertising agency. He, Courtney and Channing will talk about creating videos for your advertisers, SEM (search engine marketing), maximizing your social media platforms and programmatic media buying.

Robbie McAlpine is the President and CEO of Alpine Advertising Agency, and owner of Our Town Radio (WCRL Radio 95.3 in Oneonta, Alabama.) Alpine is a media rep firm that primarily represents the Automotive and telecom industry in the eastern part of the United States, and has heavily invested time and resources into new revenue streams for it’s clients which are centered around easily scalable digital, social and content driven video for radio. McAlpine and his wife of 24 years (Kara), have three sons and a new daughter-in-law. The company has been headquartered out of Oneonta for the last 15 years, with sales offices in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arkansas and various cities in Alabama.

 

Courtney Huffstutler currently oversees advertising production and Programmatic Digital Advertising at Alpine Advertising, and assists with WCRL Radio voice overs and local content. She attended the University of Alabama earning a degree in Telecommunication and Film with a minor in Theatre. Prior to joining Alpine Advertising Agency she was a social media marketer and editor for the University of Alabama Department of Theater and Dance. She is certified in Search Engine Marketing and possesses skills in videography, video editing, graphic design, and social media marketing.

 

Channing Pettus graduated from the University of Alabama in 2011 with a degree in Communication and Information Sciences. After graduation, she moved to Nashville to work in the music industry for a year. She moved back to Alabama and worked as Media Coordinator at BLR Further Advertising Agency in Birmingham for a couple of years before moving back home. She has been with Alpine Advertising for four years, where she is the Media Buyer and Digital Manager. Channing and her husband of five years (Jake) have a three-year-old daughter, Millie and a five-month-old son, Orrin.
