JOB SUMMARY: The Digital Content producer helps the team with writing web stories, managing station branded social media accounts and contributes content to our streaming platforms. Ability to be on camera and ad-lib breaking news is a plus.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works with digital content manager on strategic vision for digital department and platforms including WAFF.com, WAFF’s social media pages, YouTube and digital streaming channels
• Focused on a “Digital First News Strategy” including writing web stories, app pushes, livestreams and social media content
• Cross departmental collaboration and willingness to work in a team environment.
Schedule could involve working nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Requirments:
• Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, broadcast media or related field
• – Previous experience in digital field required
• – Knowledge of AP Style required
• – High-level understanding of journalistic ethics required
