Engineering Seminar: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday 8/14

The topic for the Engineering Day is “Broadcast Audio – Quality vs. Quantity”.  We will have four presentations covering the topic for both radio and television.

The morning sessions will include an overview of the present state of analog and digital audio processing, for both radio and television. This presentation will be presented by Hal Buttermore with Telos Alliance (developer of the Omina line of processors).  Also in the morning session John Bradford with Tektronix will cover audio issues that television stations encounter along with a discussion about CALM Act compliance.

The afternoon session feature Chris Crump with Comrex who will cover proper techniques for moving audio around your plant in an IP world.  Larry Wilkins will present the final session which will cover mixing multitrack audio in the studio and live events.
