JOB SUMMARY: WAFF needs an enterprising reporter who loves telling stories. We want reporters who want to turn lead stories. Ideal candidate must cultivate sources. MMJ will have a specific coverage area.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• MMJ must be able to shoot, write and edit enterprise stories.
• Able to work any shift as needed.
• Must be able to turn a digital story on daily stories.
• Engaged with social media.
• Solid knowledge of legal and ethical issues impacting journalism.
• Must react quickly to breaking news.
• Must be willing to live in the assigned coverage area.

Requirments:
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field.
• Social media proficiency.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong writing skills (broadcast & print)
