JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

Maintain and repair microwave and transmitter equipment; maintain technical adjustments according to FCC Rules; ensure proper tower, building and grounds maintenance; and computer knowledge needed. Duties include monitoring and maintenance of digital microwave and transmitter equipment. Some duties must be performed within a high voltage and power environment. Lifting/weight requirement 75 pounds. A General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) or SBE certification desired, but not required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

An Associate Degree from an accredited two-year college in Electronics or a directly related field (AND) four (4) years of experience in work directly related to the above described duties; (OR) Above graduation from a standard four-year high school or equivalent (GED), directly related education and directly related experience may be substituted on an equal basis. Must be able to work varying shifts all hours of the day and night. May be called to work for extended periods during emergencies or special needs. The candidate should have proven knowledge in television promotions, use of graphics, and the technical skills to deliver effective, creative, and compelling daily promotions for a group of television stations, to assist the Creative Services/Promotions Manager, and work closely with the Sales Departments. Television experience is preferred along with strong organizational skills, ability to take direction and then execute independently, and be deadline driven. Creativity is a must.
