Job Description:
WideOrbit is looking for a motivated and experienced QA Specialist for our software package – WO Media Sales. WO Media Sales is a software solution that allows sales professionals to analyze ratings and intelligently target their approaches for selling time slots to advertisers. The Quality Assurance Specialist will work with our software applications and systems to debug complex software products and provide detailed documentation of defects. The Quality Assurance Specialist will play an integral role as a liaison between product support and engineering, ensuring client requests and issues are met and clearly translated to the development team. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
•Partner with product support in identifying software defects.
•Hands on testing software (e.g. regression, smoke, feature, system)
•Analyze test results to ensure functionality and recommend corrective action to the development team.
•Maintain documentation of test results to assist development team in debugging and modifications.

Here’s what we’re looking for:
•3+ years of experience of media software or 3+ years of experience in research at a broadcast company OR 3+ years of experience in media buying OR 1+ year of experience in Software QA with an end user application.
•Strong technical aptitude with experience in testing software is a plus.
•Experience participating in the implementation, administration, or testing of software is preferred.
•Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Excellent documentations skills and attention to detail.
•Knowledge of MS Project or Smartsheet is a plus.
