The Center for Public Television and Radio at the University of Alabama is looking for a Producer/Director to develop and produce television programs, documentaries and commercial work for broadcast and corporate clients. CPT&R is an award-winning television center producing series, specials and corporate videos on a wide range of topics, including history, sports, arts and culture, health and business.

The Producer/Director will join a motivated team of creative production professionals who wear many hats. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong storytelling skills as well as field and editing skills. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to direct single camera remote production, supervise and direct crews in the field, and editing of content. Experience with Adobe’s Creative Cloud editing and DSLR video is highly desired.

CPT&R is located in a brand new $17 million dollar state- of-the- art digital media center.
