WAAY-TV in Huntsville, Alabama is looking for a News Promotion Producer who will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of on-air news promotions. The candidate who wins this job will create and execute image campaigns, POP’s, topical news promotions and special report promos. Must be able to operate video servers, VTRs, transmitters, MC Switcher, satellite receivers and Harris Automation. Responsible for taking transmitter readings. Work closely with other departments. Quality control of air signal for multiple stations. Ability to handle moderate to high stress and deadline pressure. Maintain station log. Perform additional responsibilities as required.
